Job Description

About the position EuroHealthNet's activities take place on three complementary platforms encompassing policy, practice and research. A core management and administration team unites and builds connections between the platforms. Within the core team, communication activities reinforce the messages and expertise of the EuroHealthNet Partnership. The core team is responsible for EuroHealthNet's governance, strategic planning and member-reach efforts, as well as administrative matters such as finance, human resources and operations. The Administrative and Operational Employee supports the core team in its daily work. This position is offered on a part-time basis, ranging from 2.5 to 3 days of the work week. Responsibilities

  • Administration: assist the core team of EuroHealthNet with administrative tasks, implement and maintain the file system, monitor calendars and booking meetings, organize and book travel and accommodations, assist in preparing regular reports.
  • Data entry: Keep the contact database up to date by entering new contacts and updating existing ones. Ensure proper classifications in the database and relevant tagging on themes and topics of interest.
  • Events: Assist in the organization of upcoming events, print relevant documents, prepare badges and folders, order relevant equipment and supplies.
  • Transversal: Contribute to other tasks of the work program as part of the EuroHealthNet team.

Profile

  • Strong organizational skills
  • You have good written and oral communication skills in English, knowledge of French is an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and in particular Excel
  • You are meticulous and strict in following guidelines
  • Good time management skills and ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and good problem solving skills
  • You have a proactive mind, willingness to take initiative and a pragmatic approach to problem solving
  • You are able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously to meet rapidly changing projects and priorities

Practical This position is offered in accordance with Belgian national law. The Administrative and Operations Assistant will report directly to the EuroHealthNet Senior Operations Coordinators. All candidates must be qualified, eligible and able to work in Belgium. Unfortunately, we cannot offer financial assistance to move to Brussels or Belgium. For this position, EuroHealthNet offers a monthly allowance (based on a gross full-time salary of between €2,300 – 2,600 depending on experience and qualifications), as well as benefits such as meal vouchers, financial support for using public transport to work, and hospital insurance. The position includes telecommuting and office work. The successful candidate will be provided with the necessary materials to work remotely as required (eg laptop).
