Details of the job vacancy
- Carry out your preparatory work in function of hot and cold kitchen preparations.
- Process your ingredients by applying basic cooking techniques to hot and cold kitchen preparations.
- Order and receive your food in the kitchen.
- Organize and follow up your kitchen processes and pass on your instructions to the kitchen employee.
- You prepare dishes and meals according to the appropriate culinary techniques and/or according to a technical sheet.
- You finish the dishes and check their quality. You work under the responsibility of a cook.
- You work in an institution that has a kitchen: restaurant, caterer, industrial and industrial kitchen, alone or in a team.
- You work standing up and you are constantly exposed to varying temperatures from cold to warm.
- You strictly apply the hygiene and safety rules for handling foodstuffs and wear the appropriate equipment.
- You have a good smell and taste memory, to perceive and distinguish flavors and smells.
- You have experience on the hot and the cold side
- You help with the preparation of the menu and suggestions
- Order and cleaning of the kitchen
